Certificates to the Executive Director OH and OMC, the Medical Superitendant OH and the Principal OMC
The ISO certification of the Outspan Hospital and Outspan Medical College was celebrated with pomp and color in a ceremony held at Outspan Medical College grounds on Saturday 30th April 2022. OTRH Executive Director Dr. G.M. Kiruhi opened the ceremony with an appreciative speech towards all the guests, stakeholders and staff members. “I would like to thank all the certifying bodies that have mentored the institution throughout the journey and assisted us in acquiring this huge milestone that we have worked so hard for.” The Executive Director went on to add that the quality champions and all the staff members played a great role to ensure that the two institutions achieved the goal of being ISO certified. The Chief Executive Officer of Human Quality Assessment Services (HuQAS) Mr. Leonard Ndegwa, commented that it was a great honor to be associated with the Outspan “The benefit about certification is that now Outspan will increase customer satisfaction and the students at Outspan Medical College will have an opportunity of competing globally." Mr. Robert Njuguna the Chief Executive Officer at Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS) said that the Outspan Hospital Laboratory is now one of the 3 labs in Nyeri County to be ISO accredited. “As KENAS, we are proud to have partnered with the Outspan community and walking with them throughout the journey. Being accredited now means that you are recognized globally for providing quality healthcare services.” “Bureau Veritas was also well represented by the Chief Auditor Mr. Kennedy Obuya who explained that OTRH has upheld all the 7 principals of ISO Standards which are customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management.
