Radiographer

The radiographer will operate imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patients’ medical conditions. They will also ensure patient safety by following radiation protection guidelines, positioning patients correctly, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To perform high quality imaging procedures and provide accurate and timely reports to clients
  • Adhere to infection control measures
  • Basic maintenance and safety of imaging equipment
  • Administration of contrast to clients

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in medical imaging sciences from a recognized institution.
  • Degree in diagnostic radiography or higher diploma in medical imaging sciences (ultrasound) will be an added advantage.
  • Registration with KNRA, with a valid practicing license.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a hospital imaging department
