Outspan Hospital Scientific and Ethics Review Committee is an independent committee established to review the scientific and ethical aspects of research involving human participants.

The committee ensures that all research conducted under the institution meets national, legal, and international ethical standards, and that the rights, dignity, safety, and well-being of research participants are protected.

The OHSERC is accredited by the National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI) and operates in accordance with national research guidelines and Good Clinical Practice.
