Job summary:

Outspan Teaching and Referral Hospital (OTRH), a leading Level 5 Teaching and Referral Hospital within the Outspan Global health and education ecosystem, invites applications from qualified and motivated professionals to fill the position of ICT Manager at its Nyeri Branch.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including telemedicine, data analytics, and emerging health technologies.

  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, academic institutions, and regulatory bodies to enhance healthcare delivery.

  • Lead innovation initiatives including adoption of cloud-based systems, AI-supported diagnostics, and automation of clinical and administrative workflows.

  • Support research and academic programs through robust health information systems and data management platforms.

  • Champion organizational change management and foster a culture of digital innovation across departments.

  • Develop and implement ICT governance frameworks, policies, and risk management strategies aligned with global best practices.

  • Develop ICT capacity-building programs and mentorship initiatives to strengthen institutional technical expertise

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field
  • At least 3 years work experience in a health care set up
  • Technical skills in networking, server administration and database management
