Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:
Diploma or Degree in Nursing – KRN, KRCHN, KRNM, KRNMPH, or BScN. - Specialization:
Higher Diploma in Reproductive health Nursing. - Licensure:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Nursing Council of Kenya. - Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Mandatory
ACLS – Highly preferred
Skills & Competencies:
Strong management skills
- Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced reproductive health department.
Experience
Minimum five(5) years post registration nursing experience, with at least three (3) years working in Maternity ward and two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience in a teaching or referral hospital is an added advantage.
